We are wrapping up Pony week with some of our favorite coloring pages and paper mask! The next theme is summer vacation. As I have mentioned before, we do school 365 days a year no exceptions. We may be going on vacation, but that doesn’t mean we slack off. It’s very important to us that our the kids know working hard pays off, that’s where the vacation comes in, but it’s also important they know we need to do our best every single day. Just because we are doing something fun in no way means we shouldn’t still be learning and striving to be our best! Our typical schedule will be slightly different, the school day is much shorter during the week of our annual vacation, but it never fully stops! I make our packs are a bit more fun (mazes, coloring, etc) and the core subjects are done on the tablet, but we still read the same amount and do the same daily writing assignments. You can check out the apps we use on the Recommendations page, they have served us very well over the years, definitely worth the download!
