It took us a long time to decide on a theme, save up, find everything we wanted for a good price, paint, etc. but it was all totally worth it! Our school/playroom room is complete now (aside from a few little things, like knick-knacks, other décor, and ceiling)! Below are photos of our new school/playroom for some inspiration! if you see something you like, several of the items below can be found on the School/Play Room Amazon shopping list and other Amazon shopping links below!
The room is minimalistic, yet still incorporates all of the stations/zones/areas (we haven’t narrowed down exactly what we’re calling it 🤣) we wanted to include in our school days and play time. There are around 3,000 decals (most glow in the dark) on the walls and floor, that took forever! The floor is painted, then decaled with space stickers, including a planet path/hopscotch in order the planets ae in the solar system! It’s all sealed with polyethene. We have a reading nook, workout corner, science lab section, learning center, and play area! We do the simpler art things (coloring, paper crafts, and the like) in this room, but we also have a separate room for the messier art, such as painting and paper maché.
Don’t forget to check for those used prices when shopping, and (if you can hold off for a while) buying from out of country can save you so much money! We bought so much of what you see here “used”, or from over seas, several of which we got for less than half price! So, we were able to do the room for fairly cheap, way less than we thought it’s be. Some items on the Amazon lists may be sold out, but a quick search should provide other sellers with the same product, though it might cost more.
