Recommendations

The recommendation are broke down over multiple pages. The links are below! I hope this helps!

Since I know some of you may find yourselves wanting more information than this site offers on one or more topics, I have included other links/places that offer real help and insights into homeschooling, and more suggested items that might interest you. Fine the topic you’re looking for and click the appropriate link below to be directed!

No matter what questions you have, or what resources you’re looking for, the suggested books, curriculums, sites, and more should offer you real, honest, helpful answers. The downside unfortunately is, though most, if not all of the sites recommended do offer some freebies, not everything is free like the HHD site. But, I did try to make sure everything is at least cheap. I know the struggle of trying to do this on a budget.

My biggest, most worth while recommendation (aside from The Homeschool Help Desk of course) is the Home School Legal Defense Association (HSLDA); the website, the YouTube, their memberships and helpful contacts, just everything about them. They have a lot to offer, but it can be a hassle to find what you’re looking for on the site since there is so much. However, if you’re ever seeking out legal homeschool help, these are the guys to go to!

Online support group suggestion

Everyone needs a little support here and there right? As far as online homeschooling support goes, I recommend checking Facebook and/or do a Google search of “homeschool groups in my area”. You can find several great Facebook groups and pages to join simply by searching the term “homeschool”. And, a quick Google search will give you several online, and local places to turn to for homeschool communities. Also check the HSLDA site (click HERE if you’re on a pc, mobile, or other device) to find groups in your area. You can also join the other HHD groups and page below.

Facebook Groups

HHD Group Page – This is the group I created prior to the site. You can find more worksheets FREE here!

Homeschool Resources Support Group – The wonderful people that run this group are some of the only I have found that actually screens members. They also screen to avoid spamming! The members have been very helpful and kind to me since I joined. If it’s support you’re looking for this group is worth checking out.

Facebook Pages

HHD Page – This page is linked to the site for those that prefer to get the materials that way. It’s very new, but unlike the group posting from members for support or non work related topics will be permitted as long as it’s appropriate.

I’d love to keep adding to all of the list, so, if you have any site, book, etc. suggestions that you think would be a good addition, please send them my way. I am also very happy to recommend anyone’s pesonal blogs/sites/books providing it checks out as a safe and useful. It doesn’t necessarily have to be homeschool related, other genre’s are more than welcome within reason of course. Visit the contact page to send me any suggestions you may have, or if you have any questions. Hopefully the links below will assist y’all well!

Amazon Shopping List

I want to make it very clear that I do NOT get paid to promote anything on the lists in anyway, nor does anyone I know. The products are not sent to me/friends/family to review. I have found and used/researched these on my own. I spend a significant amount of time each month on amazon searching around to find the best products to aid in our homeschool journey at the best deals! Now you can benefit from my hours of work as well! I have put together lists of teaching aids, books, kits and more that may prove useful and helpful on your homeschool journey as well! I have also put together a list of family matching clothing, shoes and accessories. Our youngest is very much into matching mom, so every spring we choose a few matching outfits and things that are always a big hit with our friends and family. Everything we have bought or simply just considered is on the list. Please note the sizes and colors displayed may not be the matching item. Also some things may say out of stock, however it may only be for the size and/or color that was selected when the item was added to the list. Click on the item to check the availability of your desired sizes/colors for sure.

AGIAN, I want to make it very clear that I do not get paid to promote anything on the lists in anyway, nor does anyone I know. The products are not sent to me/friends/family to review. I have personally researched and/or used everything on the lists above myself, (aside from the family marching products, some of those were considered and viewed but not purchased) which is why I feel comfortable recommending these items to you. If anyone finds a recalled or poorly reviewed product on the list that I may have somehow missed PLEASE contact me and let me know! I hope you find these list and their contents as useful, helpful, and fun as we have! If there’s a type of shopping list you’d like to see created please feel free to send me the request and I will do my best to set it up asap! Enjoy and happy teaching!
