In our house STEM is a big deal! We had previously dedicated Sunday’s fully to STEM for years, now with our homeschooler getting older we are incorporating it into our curriculum more and more. We always experiment when we do any STEM activity. We alter, add to, and/or change them up. So even if you have tried the activities before, you may enjoy trying it again our way, and maybe even get inspired to makes some changes of your own! And the best part is, most of them can be done relatively fast for little cost! You probably have most (if not all) of the things needed to do a lot of them already in your home!
I have included in the STEM post, any worksheet downloads we may have used to go along with each of them. We take several photos throughout the activities and a few videos for you to use as reference. I try to make everything as clear as possible so things run smoothly for you! I apologize in advance for the less than pro quality of the videos. 😆 It’s not really my thing, I know I’m not great at it. Please, bare with me. I’ll get better at all of this…. I hope. 😁 In spite of all of that, I know a lot of people prefer videos to reading so I do what I can to oblige, at least for STEM activities. You can follow on YouTube as well for any HHD original videos as well as the educational playlists I put together for ya’ll with each new theme! Click the images below to get the full details on each STEM activity and any related info you may enjoy as well! I always include detailed, step-by-step descriptions on exactly what techniques we used. I also include, not only all materials used, but also where we found the best deals on everything we purchased. Anything we use (for STEM, lessons, ect.) from Amazon is always linked to the posts and added to the shopping lists (found on the bottom of most pages) to make things easier to find for you! 😉
Let me know how your projects turn out! Did you get the same results? If not what were your results? Did you add your own twist or alter the project? If so how and how did your way turn out? What are you and your little ones favorite science and/or STEM projects/experiments? I always enjoy hearing/seeing what ya’ll do for science in your home!

Amazon Shopping List
I want to make it very clear that I do NOT get paid to promote anything on the lists in anyway, nor does anyone I know. The products are not sent to me/friends/family to review. I have found and used/researched these on my own. I spend a significant amount of time each month on amazon searching around to find the best products to aid in our homeschool journey at the best deals! Now you can benefit from my hours of work as well! I have put together lists of teaching aids, books, kits and more that may prove useful and helpful on your homeschool journey as well! I have also put together a list of family matching clothing, shoes and accessories. Our youngest is very much into matching mom, so every spring we choose a few matching outfits and things that are always a big hit with our friends and family. Everything we have bought or simply just considered is on the list. Please note the sizes and colors displayed may not be the matching item. Also some things may say out of stock, however it may only be for the size and/or color that was selected when the item was added to the list. Click on the item to check the availability of your desired sizes/colors for sure.
AGIAN, I want to make it very clear that I do not get paid to promote anything on the lists in anyway, nor does anyone I know. The products are not sent to me/friends/family to review. I have personally researched and/or used everything on the lists above myself, (aside from the family marching products, some of those were considered and viewed but not purchased) which is why I feel comfortable recommending these items to you. If anyone finds a recalled or poorly reviewed product on the list that I may have somehow missed PLEASE contact me and let me know! I hope you find these list and their contents as useful, helpful, and fun as we have! If there’s a type of shopping list you’d like to see created please feel free to send me the request and I will do my best to set it up asap! Enjoy and happy teaching!
Sign up for the mailing list to get packs sent directly to you via email the moment they are posted! You can also follow on one of the other social media platforms below!
