In honor of Halloween…. Black and orange text. Anyways…. Personally, I’m not a fan of Halloween. I don’t hate it as much as Christmas (settle down X-Mas lovers it’s just not my thing), but I normally dread it all month. You probably wouldn’t guess from the activities we do all month, the decor and foods we have all October, and now all the work I put into the school packs we use, but it’s true I hate this holiday. But, my children and my husband LOVE it. Like really love it! Fight to keep the decorations out all year, count down days to the next Halloween starting the moment it’s over, sleep in their costumes daily if I let them, freaking LOVE it. And I love them, so I put a lot of effort into making it the best I can for them every year and now ya’ll get to reap the benefits of the hard work as well. I do enjoy the “creepy” aspect of Halloween as far as the skulls, zombies, odd weirdness being more acceptable then the rest of the year, and getting to pass on some of my favorite movies/books from my childhood that I loved like Goosebumps books, Hocus Pocus and Tim Burton movies.
